If you’re looking for the best donuts in Orange County, look no further. These top spots are all unique in their own way and you can’t go wrong with any of them. SoCal has some of the best donut shops I have ever been to, hands down. I hope you try them all and love them as much as I do!

1. Oliboli Donuts

One of the best donut shops I have ever come across. Oliboli Donuts is located in Tustin. They use stone-milled flour, ferment the dough for 40 hours and to top it all off, all donuts are fried-to-order. You can’t get fresher and fluffier donuts in OC.

Oliboli changes their menu seasonally with fresh fun flavors and drinks too. You cannot go wrong with any of the flavors. I recommend going with a loved one or group and getting a whole box to share. If they have the Monte Cristo donut in season, definitely try that one.

2. Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee

If you are in Orange County, you’ve got to go to Sidecar. Sidecar makes their doughnuts daily, from scratch and they fry them in small batches all throughout the day. They have seasonal flavors and a gluten free and vegan menu. They also have a really great matcha latte if you’re a matcha lover like myself. Sidecar Donuts is definitely one of the top donut spots in OC and they have multiple locations in California.

If you go, try the huckleberry, maple bacon, butter & salt and Basil Eggs Benedict for something savory.

3. JD Flannel Donuts & Coffee

JD Flannel’s is located in San Juan Capistrano and is a must-try for donuts in OC. All of their donuts are hand-rolled and hand-cut throughout the day. They also offer gluten free and dairy free donuts and have a full list of espresso drinks. The old fashioned donuts are a great classic choice or the maple bacon (but can you ever go wrong with a maple bacon donut?).

4. Parlor Doughnuts

Parlor Doughnuts is famous for their layered doughnuts. These are different than cake or yeast donuts that other locations have. The layered doughnuts are kind of like a cronut situation (they make them with layers of butter between the dough – yum).

Parlor offers a wide range of flavors on their menu, including vegan, gluten free donuts and keto donuts as well. They have locations across the USA with a handful of them being here in Southern California.
